THE ARTISTS BILL OF RIGHTS IN THE DIGITAL ERA IS ONLINE

Written by the Artistic Director, Rolando Bellini and Senior Strategist, François Zille, in partnership with Dr. Marialuisa Stringa, President Centro UNESCO di Firenze and Member of the UNESCO World Executive Council

The New Florence Biennale and Spazio LINEA are working together to define the artists' role in the midst of the digital era. The "Ethics Bill of Rights of the Artist in the Digital Century" is composed of seven articles defining the artists' fundamental roles and functions in our contemporary world, written by our Artistic Director, Prof. Rolando Bellini , in partnership with Prof. François Zille , Brand Identity Engineer, and Dr. Marialuisa Stringa, President Centro UNESCO di Firenze and Member of the UNESCO World Executive Council. This Ethics Bill of Rights is the first stepping-stone to the re-founded IX Florence Biennale themed Ethics, DNA of Art. Presented to the public during the last XXXIII World Federation of UNESCO Clubs Symposium, the Ethics Bill of Rights of the Artist in the Digital Century is now online .

Si è chiusa la personale Io Solo Ho Occhi Per Te. Ma solo per il momento

Si è chiusa sabato 15 giugno, con grande successo di pubblico, la personale di Barbara Vistarini intitolata "I.S.H.O.P.T.", acronimo di "Io Solo Ho Occhi Per Te", installazione fotografica site specific per LINEA Spazio Arte Contemporanea. Ma quello di Barbara è solo un arrivederci: dopo aver portato il BUSH, parte dell'installazione, alla Biennale di Venezia per l'evento PHOTISSIMA, l'artista tornerà a Firenze per partecipare come guest star a The New Florence Biennale, dal 30 novembre all'8 dicembre 2013.

BARBARA VISTARINI, SEE YOU AT BIENNALE

Closed the solo show I.S.H.O.P.T. But only for the moment

Barbara Vistarini's solo exhibition at LINEA Spazio Arte Contemporanea, "Io Solo Ho Occhi Per Te" (I.S.H.O.P.T.), closed on Saturday, June 15th, with great public success. Nonetheless it is only a temporary goodbye: after the travels installation BUSH that was in the Biblioteca Nazionale and then sent to Venice for the Biennale (in occasion of the event PHOTISSIMA), the artist will come back in Florence to join The New Florence Biennale as guest artist, from November 30th to December 8th 2013. Until then the exhibition "I.S.H.O.P.T." will be complete, after the preview of "Giulia on Air" video stills, Vistarini will present two videos that will bring another element to this body of work. Exploring Ethics as DNA of Art, searching for a New Paradigm of Art for the Digital Era. The Mission of The New Florence Biennale, in order to bring it to life, has entrusted this challenge to young talents UNDER 30. While staying open to Artists of all ages, the IX edition (from November 30th to December 8th 2013) launch a hermeneutic and psycho-philosophic challenge to young creative minds. In complete harmony with the spirit of Florentine Humanism, The New Florence Biennale aims to stimulate the reinterpretation, clearly and distinctly marked in a "contemporary" manner those founding values of Humanism.

LUCA ESPOSITO NUOVO DIRETTORE DELLA FOTOGRAFIA

Dal mondo del lusso e della bellezza alla narrazione dell'Arte nell'Era Digitale

É Luca Esposito di Roma il nuovo Direttore della Fotografia di The New Florence Biennale. Lo staff della Biennale si allarga e si rinnova per questa edizione 2013, che inaugura un nuovo ciclo per la Manifestazione. Fotografo Nikon, L'Oréal Matrix, L'Oréal Professionnel, la Maison Franco Pianegonda, lavora con stilisti dell'alta moda come Franco Ciambella e Anton Giulio Grande, Nino Lettieri, con il visagista Pablo Gil Cagné e molti altri protagonisti dell'universo dello stile. In un carnet del genere non potevano mancare collaborazioni con artisti del calibro di Milan Goldschmiedt a Milano. From the universe of luxury and beauty to the narrative of Art in the Digital Era

Luca Esposito from Rome is the new Director of Photography of The New Florence Biennale. The Biennale's staff expands and renews for this 2013 Edition, that opens a new cycle for the exhibition. Photographer for Nikon, L'Oréal Matrix, L'Oréal Professionnel, Maison Franco Pianegonda, he works for haute couture designers such as Franco Ciambella and Anton Giulio Grande, Nino Lettieri, with the beautician Pablo Gil Cagné and many others leading figure of universe of style.
