Beholding Beauty International Art Competition

Online Event - Contests, Juried Art Shows - Acrylic, Ceramics, Crafts, Digital Media, Glass, Mosaic, Illustration, Jewelry, Mixed media, Metalsmithing, Sculpture, Watercolor, Oil, Pastel, Photography, Poetry, Video/Film Art Gallery

What is beauty? What is that sensation? The definition is much larger than we generally think as it is a subjective experience. What is it that moves us? How does the contemporary art scene define it? How do you define it as an artist? Whether it is form and color, or composition and porportions, or technical ability and creative intuition, or tied to the future , the past, or exisiting in the present, whether it be object, installation or concept, we would like to see it, we would like to see what's out there and give it visibility. Respond to this age old question by participating in this ARTROM Gallery International Art Competition. Send your best 5 images. 6 artists will be selected to participate in the Beholding Beauty Exhibition in Rome, Italy, opening November 14th at the Artist Presentation Space. One image from each completed submission will be included immediately in the album on our Beauty in Contemporary Art? Facebook page. Each month, until the end of September, an artist will be choosen to be featured through social networking. Further prizes are listed on the website.
