join the dharmakaya art 2012-2013 collection call for artists - deadline: may 25th, 2012 dharmakaya art studios is searching for two dimensional visual artists for its 2012/2013 fine art collection. the collection will be marketed to thousands of art industry partners, art galleries, interior designers and art buyers. the twenty selected artists will have an opportunity to sell a limited edition of a body of work in the form of fine art giclee prints and also a revolving source of original work. Each artist will also participate in at least four group exhibitions between september 2012 and august 2013, dates to be determined, with the exhibitions being in both our seattle and san francisco locations. we are giving priority to artists working on paper, to be reproduced on paper limited edition fine art giclees.  deadline -- applications post marked by may 25th, 2012. there is a $25 application fee. artists must be able to present printed material of a strong group or cohesive collection of five refined works of art. may include printmaking, painting, drawing, photography. download prospectus below with application checklist. incomplete applications will not be considered. open to artists 18 years and older. it is strongly encouraged applicant have a website typifying professional representation and aesthetics. we are seeking mature, professional, driven artists who are ready and committed to being a professional fine art artist. Ideas describing our collection aesthetics - ornamented, patterned, decorative, organic, elegant, tasteful, minimalistic, timeless, subtle, rhythmic, resonating with emotion, captivating, non objective, alluring, botanical, repetitive, mechanical. awards a total of well over $100,000 in awards. Each accepted artist will receive the following: join the stable of 20 artist 2012-2013 collection ability  to have 500 limited edition fine art giclees of 5 different originals, earning a licensing fee of $10 per print sold. $500 award/stipend per artist for being selected into the collection. Unlimited capacity to sell art originals in the aesthetic quality of reproduction works with dharmakaya art studios for a standard rate of 50% of retail cost, at least 4 group exhibitions at our seattle and san francisco alternative art spaces. The opportunity to be voted into obtaining a solo show in our seattle alternative art space.
