Surrealismo Contemporâneo: A ótica do desenho à pintura.

      Não se trata de estacionar no período que foi denominado Surrealismo, é a ressonância desse movimento, unido a outros elementos contemporâneos, que acaba fundindo uma nova visão. O foco principal é o imaginário. A junção de elementos díspares da realidade, para criar uma reinvenção de sentido, onde o onírico anda lado a lado com o simbolismo. Os temas mais abordados são a morte, o instinto sexual, o corpo, a angústia do tempo/espaço e o hibridismo.

      Temas profundos da alma humana, interpretados á partir do desenho, que hora pretende chegar até os limites da pintura, e pinturas propriamente ditas.

      É assim, que Jéssica Camejo e Angela Longo, vêm mostrar a sua produção recente com esse foco de trabalho. O intuito é mostrar ao expectador o imaginário "desnudo", com a representação visual dos sentimentos que nos atraem e repelem. Dar forma aos enigmas. Eles são as "entidades-bonecos".

      O trabalho de Jéssica pode ser definido como impactante e visceral, aborda a relação com o corpo e com o que há de mais grotesco no íntimo da mente, seria uma interação do corpo-mente. Ela busca constantemente mostrar em seus trabalhos o paradoxo do plano físico e mental, com certa dose de ironia.

      Em Angela, temos o hibridismo, os seres fantásticos e a busca constante pela representação da arte do imaginário. Em certos momentos, um simbolismo latente figura em seu trabalho, em meio as suas ''entidades-bonecos'' e o mundo que eles habitam.

      A confluência que liga os trabalhos dessas duas artistas está exatamente em "construir" essas entidades, cada um com sua linguagem, mas sempre fiéis, a uma arte visionária, surreal e contemporânea.

      A exposição Surrealismo Contemporâneo: a ótica do desenho à pintura vem para mostrar o que essas duas estudantes de Artes Visuais tem produzido e como somos nós que interpretamos o que vemos tudo se torna possível.

Contemporary Surrealism: The Optics of the Drawing to Painting.

That is how Jessica Camejo and Angela Longo, come to show their recent production work with this focus. The aim is to show the viewer the imaginary "bare" with the visual representation of the feelings that we attract and repel. Shaping the puzzles. They are "entities-dolls."

 

       Jessica's work can be described as shocking and visceral, focusing on the relationship with the body and what's more grotesque in the depths of the mind, it would be a mind-body interaction. She is constantly looking to show their work in the paradox of the physical and mental, with a certain amount of irony.

 

       By Angela, we hybridity, fantastic beings and constant search for the imaginary representation of art. At certain times, a figure latent symbolism in his work, through their bodies,''dolls''and the world they inhabit.

 

       The junction that connects the work of these two artists is exactly "build" these entities, each with its own language, but always faithful, a visionary art, contemporary and surreal.

 

       The exhibition Contemporary Surrealism: the view from drawing to painting is to show that these two students of Visual Arts has produced and how are we to interpret what we see, everything becomes possible.
